Introduce yourself
I’m a full-time design researcher by day and a multi-disciplinary creative by night. As a creative, I experiment with new mediums all the time because I love hand-making things and the idea of each piece being one-of-a-kind is so special to me.
Conceptualising Community
When I was first assigned this topic of community, I knew that I wanted to immortalize the way we have learned to connect in this pandemic-stricken world. So this piece was inspired by real scenes I’ve seen on social media during the lockdown.
I love how even though we were all in our isolated spaces, we adapted - Some of us became crazy plant mum and dads, some of us turned to baking or exercising, some of us reconnected with our families, but most importantly, we were all standing in solidarity by staying home and keeping safe.
"My creative work helps me to slow down, to take life a little less seriously and to enjoy details that everyone would otherwise miss. There’s beauty in taking time to savor the small, ordinary things, especially in a world that seems to be going faster than ever."
