Painter of Words
Introduce yourself
I had my first brush with calligraphy whilst on holiday in New York in 2013. The lessons had a great impact on me; upon returning to Singapore I felt drawn to writing with my hands, and slowly steered away from designing with the computer.
It may seem like it's taking a step backwards but calligraphy has taught me so much about perseverance, becoming more human and working more with my heart than head. I believe that words are powerful.
They don't cost anything, yet they are priceless. Through the art of calligraphy, words become tangible, to be seen and felt.
Conceptualising Community
They are your biggest encouragers. They see the good in you that you may sometimes find hard to resonate with. They go out of their way to help you expecting absolutely nothing in return. They tell you the hard truth in love and shares juicy industry news with you.
They simply sit with you and gives you the gift of time when you're at your lowest. They will send you random cute animal videos. The first people you want to see IRL when lockdown is finally over. The people you can be yourself with without the fear of being judged and you do all the above for, wholeheartedly.
