Jasmine Sim
our first in-house model, and an actress

How her journey with us began:
In university, I took part in a charity runway show and Love, Bonito happened to see photos of me from the event. At the time, they were also looking for an in-house model that could represent the Asian woman they design for. I went down to their office for a fitting and the rest was history. What first struck me about Love, Bonito was how tight-knit everyone was at the office. It felt like everyone was part of a community.
What inspired you to take a leap of faith and become the first model for Love, Bonito? Were there any doubts or fears you had to overcome?
Honestly, taking the job was a no brainer for me. I probably felt more like it was a leap of faith for the brand to choose me as their in-house model. I was definitely a little nervous because this was one of my first few modelling jobs. I would question myself – "Who am I? Do I even know what I'm doing? Am I meeting their expectations? " Thankfully, it didn't take long for me to feel comfortable though because I felt like I was becoming a part of this big family.
"We've seen each other grow. We're still growing.

One fond memory with Love, Bonito:
How shoot days don't really feel like work.
Your favorite Love, Bonito item:
The Pvara pants! It remains a staple in my wardrobe because it's leg lengthening and just goes with everything.
What do you look forward to seeing more of from Love, Bonito, as a model, and as a customer?
I am extremely excited to see the brand going places. I look forward to more staples with the same great quality and fit, and the brand exploring more creative styles and designs.
